We might not be able to control the frequency and amount of money we have landing in our bank account, especially as a salaried employee, but we have a lot more control over how that money leaves our account. By doing a budget and taking better control of your money you should be developing habits to maintain a level of self-control with how things are being spent.

There are some things which need to be spent, and they’re generally known as:

  • Transport
  • Taxes
  • Debt Reduction

These form the basic spending necessities of life, and some of these items are regular costs, whereas others are irregular.
